I’ve worked for a sign company for a few years now and one of my first clients owned a home renovation company. We worked together for a few days on designing a logo for his signage, but then he decided that his signs should just have his company name, phone number, and a photo of a house he worked on. I obliged, since he needed a few signs rather quickly.
Later, he came in looking to get some t-shirts done, so I suggested we continue working on a solid logo since he was expanding his branding material. With a confused look on his face, he told me he already had a logo, and I explained that he never showed me or sent any files.
He pointed at the photo of the house and said, That. That right there is my logo, isn’t it?
