At 12:00am, a client texted me (less than three hours after his new site went live) wondering why he can’t pull up the URL.
After an hour of back and forth, it turns out he was typing the URL into Yahoo search. This came after a discussion that Google needs time to index sites to be searchable. He didn’t understand why Yahoo needed the same time buffer.
At 3:00am, I recieved a phone call wondering why his brand new site wasn’t highly ranked on Hub Spot’s Marketing Grader, comparing its scores to that of Amazon and similar.
At 3:10am, I turned off my phone.
