Client: We want
to print three thousand menus. Can it be done today?
Me: Yes, that is no problem. Do you have the finished layout and text?
Client: No, aren’t you supposed to do that?
Me: I can do that if you need, it’s just an additional charge. Do you have a list of menu items and prices?
Me: Ok, I will need to know what I have to put on the menu. Get that to me and I’ll turn it around as fast as I can.
Two hours later the customer pops in the store with a list of menu items. After about an hour I finished the layout and added all the menu items. The customer comes back to review the test print for errors or to add changes. He gives the OK. We print three thousand menus.
Me: We finished your order! Pick it up whenever.
Client: No, this all wrong. These are the old prices and items. Why did you print the old prices?
