Client: I need you to add these two documents to the website.
The client sent these two files: HRHist Doc ixts v2 RRFinalv2-09-11-15 – Betty M.pdf and HRtxv3 RRv3-3 09-11-15 Rev3. rev. – John c. – FINAL.pdf
Me: OK, what do you want me to name the links to these documents?
Client: I don’t understand the problem. I just need you to link these files.
Me: Yes, but what I’m saying is the file names don’t really give an indication of what these documents are. I also opened them and none of them have any titles to give any indication of what they are.
Client: I would appreciate it if you didn’t open my documents. Again, please just create a link to these files. Thank you.
Me: OK, I’ll just use the names of the files as the link names then. Is that OK?
So I used the file names as the link names as agreed.
Client: Why do the links to my documents have all that garbage in it? I need them to say “Human Resources Historical Summary” and “Human Resources Transfer Summary.” I don’t understand what is so difficult about getting this done correctly
