Client: Graphic designer? Does that mean you
make iPhone apps?
Me: No. I’ve had a bit of experience in college
making them, but it’s not really my field. I don’t do coding. You’d need an
actually app developer for that. Why?
Client: I had this great idea for an iPhone
game. It’d be like this really stupid one about birds.
Me: I’m familiar.
Client: I want to make one like that. It’d be
really popular, and I’d only charge a couple of dollars and I’d be rich.
Me: Good luck with that, but like I said I don’t
Client: Oh well. Apparently Apple
has this “app store” you can go to that makes them for you.
I didn’t have the time nor the patience to explain to him
that the app store wasn’t a physical store, nor that it doesn’t actually
develop the apps that it sells.
