Me: I sent you the completed website link a week ago and haven’t heard back. Is everything okay?

Client: It’s too plain. The colours and layout and logo - can you redo it?

Me: Sorry, but no. You approved the wireframe and the design. The logo was provided by you. I’ll happily change the colours, but I can’t do a complete redesign.

Client: I could have bought a template and used that for much less. I don’t want to pay for something I don’t like.

Me: I’m sorry, but you signed off on and personally approved each level of the design process, in addition to signing a contract.

Client: You don’t even know where I live. Good luck getting me to pay you.

Me: When signing the contract, you, of course, provided me with your full name, number, and address.

Client: Ah yes, of course. Welp, let me know when you get those colours changed and we’ll talk about payment.
