Burning for sales
Recently, my home town ravaged by wildfires. After being evacuated, I learned my house was one of the homes that burned down. Shortly after this news, I received a phone call.
Client: I was wondering when you were able to launch the products on my website that I sent you a day ago.
Me: I’m sorry, but I’m being evacuated right now. My home and office is in the high risk area, there’s a good chance it’s all gone now.
Client: Wow, that’s terrible. Think of this as an opportunity.
Me: I guess.
Client: So. When can you get this opportunity done? I was hoping for the end of this week.
