Me: Is there a reason?
Client: I just don’t want to pay.
Me: Well, you have to pay for my work, even if you don’t use it. You agreed to a contract.
Client: What are you going to do if I don’t pay?
Me: I’ll be forced to get my solicitor involved
Client: Oh… I don’t like the sounds of that. How much will it cost to make this go away?
Me: Roughly the same price as my unpaid fee.
